Blonde L5 from 1963 "Electrified"

Something is very wrong on this L5...
Did you find it yet ?
the pots are not where they should be...
This is a good example of a gorgeous acoustic L5 blonde from 1963 who has been "elecrtified" humbuckers were installed with a toggle swicth and 2 volumes and tones. The question is ... Why would you put them that close to the bridge instead of where they should be on an electric L5 ? This is a very good sounding Jazz guitar still and the back is gorgeous, but in my opinion it lost all it s collectible value and became what we call a "player" guitar. It does feel and plays very well and sounds great but sadly the damaged made can never be repaired ...

I d like to thank my friends Pat Boudot-Lamot, Elliot Chek, Jean Pierre Buccolo, Nicolas Petibon Greg and Do from "DNG guitars", Jean-Pierre Vigne from "Guitar n Co" who had the patience and kindness to let me take some pictures of some of their instruments. I am currently working on putting up more pages and pictures. I hope you will enjoy the new ones like the amazing Les Paul Junior 57 TV a one owner guitar in "new old stock" immaculate condition and a classic gorgeous Strat 54 and it s funny pot story amongst many others ...
