Isn t it always something special to hold a Fender with 3 serial digits ? Don t look for them on the neckplate they are on the bridge: 470 th fender guitar ever built...

That very one is one of the best of early "Esquire" i ve ever seen and i ve seen quite a few.Certainly not the most expensive or the best condition but an all original and feather-weight guitar with it s original "form fit case". Personnaly, i ve always loved the aged butterscotch way more than a pale NOS condition broadcaster, (altho if you wish to donate yours i d gladly take it ...)The cracks in the finish and the aging of the color really makes each of em different and so unique. That particular one has an incredible sustain, tone and the neck is simply to kill for. The neck is dated late 51 but it was most likely assembled in early 52 since there are very few "phillips Head" screws here and there.note that the color changes a lot from one picture to another due to the light, its real one lays somewhere between the 2 pictures of the back .
