The Regal is a brand new, original Victoria design. A departure from the typical Fender-esque topology, this one's a tip of the hat to the classic Valco-made amps from the golden era. Here's the press release that should've been up here a long time ago.

The Regal is an original Victoria design loosely based on the amplifiers manufactured by the Valco Co. in the 50's and 60's. It is powered by one 6L6 in single ended class A operation. The Regal's controls are Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, Speed and Intensity. The single 6L6 is perfect for discriminating tube swappers allowing for many hours of spirited conversation in the differences in tonal character of the many different brands and vintages of this workhorse of a power tube. The Regal is very lively and revealing tonally, and at approximately 15 watts, is more than enough power for modest gigs and recording projects. The tremolo effect is achieved by modulating the bias of the driver tube, so, like the Trem d'la Trem, the silky smooth tremolo can be enjoyed at any volume level. A single Eminence Legend 15" inch speaker is the driver of choice, chosen for its solid response from top to bottom and 99db sensitivity. Its tones are big and open, with a seamless overdriven note--thanks to the elegant simplicity of its design and the smooth class A output section. The Regal is covered in chocolate brown Tolex, tweed or cream tolex  with a brown grill cloth and "TV" front panel.

 It's pretty amazing just how loud and authoritative a single 6L6 can be! Clean tones are natural, percussive, pure and persuasive and when driven, is smooth and singing. No raw buzz here, just dynamic, biting 6L6 mojo with no biasing or cross-over notches to fret about. Class A at it's finest, and because the circuitry is so economical and revealing, the Regal is a pure sonic platform for tube swapping tone junkies. You will hear the difference between that RCA blackplate and that TS 5881 in this amplifier. The design on the Regal was created and perfected by none other than the esteemed Les Plopa (KB9-RBY), resident genius here at Victoria.
