"Tortoise Shell Pickguard on L65"

Here is an original tortoise shell pickguard.Usually seen on "Olympic White" custom color but also found on many others including the "regular sunburst". Note that the colors and patterns of the original tortoise guardsare very different from the reissues.This pickguards have the very bad habit to shrink quite a bit if  they have not been removed for  decades and if you decide to take all the screws off at once, you may never be able to put it back again without some adjusting work done to them.You must be extremly carefull when handling them.
