Amongst the firebird's family the V is one of my favorite. This one is 100% stock but for one fret job. No repairs, no overspray, no broken headstock, original tuners, pots, parts and case. The neck shape is amazing, not too narrow or too thin like most of the late 60's Gibson's guitars. It really is a fantastic player and the overall condition shows some honest playwear, weather checking and case wear here and there, mostly on the sharper edges of the body, but is still excellent. About 500 Firebird V were shipped in 1964 by Gibson but very few survived over 40 years without getting modified or broken ...
